Sunset Cruise on Lake LBJ

In the heat of the brutal Texas summer, there’s only one way you can really make it through the day - on the lake of course! There are hundreds of things you can do in and around the water - including one of the best attractions; Horseshoe Bay Resort’s Sunset Cruise around Lake LBJ.

Enjoy Your Evening Cruising on the Water

Whether you want to bring along snacks, drinks, friends, or family - you’re more than welcome to do whatever’s going to ‘float your boat’ so-to-say. While you’re enjoying your time on the water, you can take in the breathtaking Hill Country views surrounding the lake. The sunsets are always changing colors - from reds and oranges, to yellows and blues - you won’t want to miss the beautiful evening sky around here. Don’t forget your camera so you’ll be sure to remember it!

What Can You Expect?

Sit back, relax, and watch the water move beneath you as the sun sets over the lake - sounds pretty great, doesn’t it? The cruise is an hour long on a pontoon boat around sundown (of course). If you want to bring along snacks and drinks, make sure to purchase them prior to boarding!

When Should You Schedule Your Cruise?

It doesn’t take long to give Horseshoe Bay Resort a phone call to book your sunset cruise - and they’re even doing them through the fall.

Or, maybe you’re not into cruises? Been there, done that? How does a fishing tour sound? Or, even just taking the family out for a day of golf (followed by a dip in the lake)? Don’t think you can’t enjoy your time here - I’m sure you’ll find something!

So, the next time you’re looking for a refreshing, relaxing way to enjoy the heat of these Texas summer nights - don’t forget about Lake LBJ and especially, the sunset cruise.
